Massive Unity Interactive Installation – Preview
Here’s a quick teaser image from the last project we were working on. It’s from a huge multi-user interactive installation we built along with Arges Systems for a major U.S. wireless company. You’re looking at a 8 meter by 2 meter screen, made out of 140 MicroTiles, running a Unity application pushing out 12 million pixels per frame, controlled by multiple Kinects.
All those thousands of items flying around are individual autonomous UnitySteer agents. They track passing users by forming small swarms, and eventually come together to form avatars when a user is detected at certain spots. More details coming as soon as we are cleared to share them!
